Alien eye chalice color help
So I have this alien eye chalice and I have had it for about a year now and I feel like it is starting to lose some color. Some of the smaller frags I have cut off were losing color but I assumed that was because of them being placed closer to the lights.
I have not cut the mother colony in 6+months . The only that changed was I began to get a bubble algae problem so I've increased my water changes and decreased my feeding for the time being. My thought is that the less feeding is causing some color loss? Or is it likely something else? In the pics I've posted two of the other colony and than two frags I cut a long time ago. The one looks bleached but I'm assuming that's because of the lights so I will be moving it today. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

My frags that I got from you are doing great. I can definitely see a difference in color. Hopefully it’s just lighting

After I posted this I actually fragged about 9 pieces off of the mother. Also gave a shot at fragging the mushrooms I have but was only able to get one off of the rock. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

I bet its lighting and a combination of your water being really "clean".
Also good luck with that bubble algae. I finally gave up on mine and I was battling some Byopsis. Luckily I have a small tank I just tore it all down and went with new live sand and live rock.
