Tunze 9004 issues

Tunze 9004 skimmer. It has been skimming great, just creating tons of tiny bubbles from the bottom that seem to just reverse waterfall slowly upwards. I have messed with multiple heights, opened the air all the way before turning on. made sure all pieces were tightly attached and solid. Made sure the propeller was facing up. Its been about 5+ weeks now so its not the break in period. I have moved all flow to different areas and even shut off everything other than the skimmer. Always bubbles coating my tank everywhere. Please help, i like the skimmer but this is starting to cause problems and I dont want to send back if I can fix it. Thanks!!
