Bean Animal Plumbing on a 240 Gal Tank
Hello guys! I am about to start setting up my 240 gal tank that's been sitting in my living room for months now. I currently have a 150 gal. The 240 has two overflow boxes with two returns and two drains each for a total of 4 holes under the tank for each box. It was suggested to me to do the bean animal overflow. My questions are as follows...
1. Would I have to cut out the existing overflow boxes? 2. Could I do a bean animal within my overflow boxes and still make it quiet ? 3. Does anyone reading this live in Dallas? |

Bean animal uses 3 drains and 1 return, so you can do a bean animal in each overflow if you want. That will be six drain lines leading down to your sump, so plan your plumbing carefully. I don't see why you'd have to cut out existing boxes.
What are the diameters of the holes? |
