I purchased my unit about two weeks ago, and my unit is now starting with the level LED lit, and then going off for a few seconds before starting to alarm and have the too high, too low and level lights start blinking. I’m a little frustrated with just purchasing it two weeks ago. No signs of any water damage or anything like that, it’s been dry and kept outside of my sump area to stay dry as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brett

Actually just the top high and too low are blinking now, and the level is staying lit.

This is the water damage indicator, typically what causes this is that at some point the power supply tip landed in water and then was plugged into the controller wet. Usually we can repair minor water damage if you send it in.

Ok. Where should I send it to? And should I just send the controller and power cord?

If I can repair it, I don't charge unless a part needs to be replaced, for example the power supply tip is corroded, then it is just the cost of the part. Typically if repairable this is just soldering and cleaning.

I would want the controller, power supply and a note with return address and phone number.

Thanks,

Yes, it was repaired yesterday, the power supply was OK, the controller had water damage under the power socket as expected but the power supply had only some very minimal corrosion and worked fine.

Thank you! Did you have to replace any parts?

Ok, thank you!

How do I go about getting it back? I know my packaging to get it to you was comical to say the least with 1 whole roll of paper towel to cushion it.

Oh, thank you much!

Your help is greatly appreciated. I’m moving it to a wall far away from any water so hopefully we won’t have to do this again.

Thanks again for your help!

Brett

It’s my first Tunze product, so I can’t attest to its quality yet, but the customer service is phenomenal!
