Need help setting up BM doser

I pulled my new BM doser out of the box today to play with it a little. Unfortunately, while the instructions are allegedly in English, I'm pretty sure they selected random words from the dictionary and combined them into sentences. I know what each word means but when assembled, they are basically gibberish. While entertaining to read (and I'd love to send them a red-penned version) I only have the vaguest notion of what they are talking about (other than setting the clock). I don't have the slightest idea how to calibrate the pumps.

So, if anyone wants to help, I'll trade for either the beer/wine/spirit of your choice or a frag to be named later.

I had purchased the same doser used. It didn't come with a manual. I used this one to program mine. Not sure if it is any better than the one you have.

You can't!
Best to measure what they actually produce for a set number, and then adjust your programming accordingly.

Well, I talked myself out of the BM. Going with Neptune Dos system. Love that it's all configured on Fusion. Hate the price but compared to other expenses, I think it'll be worth it. Also going to set it up to automate water changes.

Few thoughts I have have read the DOS can be noisy if run at highest setting and depending on the run for the AWC the pumps may not be able to pull. I have to run 45 feet to my water change station and have decided to look for Spectrapure's LiterMeter 3 which according to everyone I have asked, has no problems pulling distances and height. Wish it would integrate with APEX but likely I will have to use BoB and switches. Just some thoughts

I'm using the LiterMeter III for my AWC. I love this product. Now I'm not pulling long distances, but the water change process is spot on. Not sure you would want to connect to another device. It has its own processor and breaks the water changes into 150 cycles.

ahh man, I wish I read this earlier, I have the bm doser and it wasn't too hard to navigate the instructions. although I don't have my tank set up. I could've pulled it out and walked you through it. if you're still curious let me know and I will pull it out.

Thanks. I have someone picking it up from me tomorrow. I'll bet he'll need a bit of help.

Must have been the same technical writer who wrote the manual for the BM skimmer too.

Pretty sure the technical writer for all the English versions has a first name of Google and a last name of Translator...
