Aiptasia in a BTA tank
I am setting up a BTA tank and am starting to have some aiptasia show up... everywhere.
Is there a way to combat these in a BTA tank? Will the BTA's tank care of them in time if I let the BTA's tank over the tank (that is the plan)? Any aiptasia aggression towards the BTA's? Thank you

I had three tanks set up. I had seen aptasia in all three. I treated the ones I could see with aptasia-x. A few months later I had no aptasia in the tanks with peppermint shrimp. Mine apparently eat the small aptasia, but I had to treat the large ones until only very small ones were left. I now have the shrimp in all three tanks.

If its easy to get to the aptisia, i squirt lime or lemon juice right in the middle of it n it melts it away.

ive used an aiptasia eating filefish in the past with impressive results, and just removed it when they were all gone.
peppermint shrimp are also effective if you have enough of them.

BTA's will not "take care" of aiptasia. You will need to be the boss using some of the methods suggested above.
