Mobert:
A simply awesome setup in every single facet! Such a spectacular focus on Clowns and anemones.

BTW, how does one top-up with saltwater? Doesn't it get too salty then?

(obvious newbie)

Thank you for your question. You should read this link regarding wet skimming:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...readid=1534930
It has worked very well for me. I wet skim on my 29 gallon Biocube also.

Newbee in Indiana....

Hi Mona.... I have been in ah over your baby clowns and your tank set up....I have had a saltwater tank now for over 2 years and it has mostly soft corals in it just 4 fish and two of them are TP clowns. They have started cleaning the rock that is next to BTA..i think they are getting ready to spawn????? Could you please tell me what I need to do it they lay eggs...how hard is it to raise the young....??? I'm very interested....Newbee in Indiana..... Ruthie

Hi Ruthie,
Go over to the breeding forum and browse around.
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=86
There are a couple of threads where people have documented their trials and tribulations. Cleaning rocks is one of the signs of possible egg laying but some clowns clean rocks for years and never lay any eggs. Just keep an eye on them. Dad will be doing a lot of fanning if there are eggs. The first couple of batches of eggs are not always well fertilized nor are there very many compared to future batches so there is no hurry for you to get the bassinet yet. Feed the pair well as well fed parents lay eggs that have a better chance of surviving.

Best of Luck,

Thanks for the update, Mona. Your tank is incredible. Robin sure does produce some attractive clownfish.

Yes, and Robin's been upgrading his breeding stock since I got these 5 1/2 years ago.

The existing anemones split from one rose and one green anemone. They grow and split more if they are target fed daily. Feeding videos are up on YouTube. Search Mobert clownfish eating.

You've been noticed, proceed with caution.
