Heat sink for power supply?

I have a few Power supply’s and I don’t like how hot they get. Does anyone know of any kind of stick on heat sink that could help keep them cooler?

Plastic case ones? Or an actual metal chassis?

Not without information (pictures/model numbers,etc...) on these power supplies...
As long as you are running it in its rating it should be fine..
Electronics can certainly run at temperatures that a human hand may detect as hot without issue..

It’s the power supply for a maxspect gyre, it’s hot to the touch and just thought a heat sink might help it stay a bit cooler, extend the life a bit?

Better ventilation is a more effective solution! Adding a heat sink will probably help the power supply emit the heat better, but if it is in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area (eg a sump cabinet with half a dozen other power supplies), it will still get hot, just take a bit longer.

It may be cheaper and better to buy a power supply rated for more amps....e-bay has all types of power supplies....
