Zooanthids are taking off...
Never have had them. Acquired a vivid orange-rimmed specimen, whose rock broke in transit. And they're popping up all over said rock and its well-populated chip. They're on the top and sopping up light like mad, where shrooms don't like to be. This is not a bad thing. So far. Orange being a fairly rare (and bright) color, they'll outline the brightly lit rocks and make solid masses of an unusual color.
The purple discosoma mushrooms are expanded to the max and thriving in bright light. The ricordeas are on the move, having been lodged in the midtank shadows---one is creeping onto the rockwork in brighter light. Good for it. Still iffy on the red ones: they're getting moved to a shady spot. That's the way with shrooms. Finding their happy depth and lighting takes a little adjustment, and the literature isn't always right regarding your setup.
