Help ID and treat

This tank has been historically very healthy and steady. It’s been up over 5 years. I have had an unidentifiable infestation of growth that is not only invasive but it is killing everything...acans, acros etc.

It grown on the bottom of the acros - shaded
Bottom and under heads and in between on acans

It is tough. If you pull it it does not come off the rock aeasily and if you roll it in your finger it is sort of firm and does not dissolve like a typical algae. In summary: what is this and how to eradicate? ...
THX
