I am about to rent a par meter but when do you actually test the par readings? At when the light is at it's highest setting? I have a Hydra 26 by the way thanks

Par @ high settings is were you want to check it.

The MQ-510 is full spectrum and has a spectral range of 389-692nm where as the the MQ-210 spectral range is only 410-655nm.
The MQ-510 works better for measuring PAR under LED's Read about the differences here. Full Spectrum: https://www.apogeeinstruments.com/fu...uantum-sensor/ Original: https://www.apogeeinstruments.com/or...uantum-sensor/

I'm running (2) 250w DE MH with (4) 54w T5's over a 120.
My fish don't seem to mind.
