55g tank w/ bottom plastic frame cracked - ok or no?

Finally getting around to upgrading a 10g saltwater tank to a 55g. We've had the 55g sitting around for a while - was going to upgrade it over a year ago, but.. life

The tank was dirty from sitting outside for a while, so resealed it and cleaned it. When emptying it after the final cleaning, I noticed that the bottom plastic frame / brace is cracked (looks like all the way through). It is cracked on both long sides of the tank (sort of near the cross brace section).

As I understand it, the bottom frame doesn't really provide much structural support anyway since the bottom pane is there, and it is the top frame that is most important. Is this true?

The top frame is in good shape.

Is it fine or do I need to repair it? I wouldn't mind getting a new tank except that I already drilled and installed the overflow and return hole on this one.

I'm not sure about the brand of the tank, as I got it used. I can measure the glass thickness when I see it again, but looks like it could possibly be 1/2".

Thanks and have a good day!
