Sps par readings?

I have an 8 month old reef that I started over from scratch. And when I started over I mean new display, new rock, new lights, new calcium reactor and other toys. I have run halides over all my previous setups for some 20 years. I decided I would run Radion X15’s this time around. My question is what par readings are sps ers running these days? I recently did some par readings of 200-250 in the majority of the display but am wondering if that is on the minimal side? I ran 250 watt halides plus either reefbrites or T5’s on previous setups. Anyone want to chime in on their “successful” ranges?

I use three X15s over 36x30x16 (75g). I have the Radions toned down to get 200-250 par at the level where the majority of my SPSs are, in which is about 2/3 of the way from the bottom up. Ever since I focused on what's going on with my par my corals have been doing much better.

Great thank you! I have watched the BRS videos and have taken the info to heart. I have seen various displays with everything from 175ish to 600/700 ranges. I’m currently around the 250 mark but may add a bit more once the system starts to take off. I use to run 250 watt halides with reefbrites and the corals did great! Now with leds I’m debating whether I have enough or not. Bad thing is I never took par readings with the halides over the tank. Wish I had to compare.
