How many times a day do I feed my fish and shrimp?

Feeding...how often?
Its honestly up to you. I’ve seen some people on forums claim they feed only every other day. I did this for my first couple months in the hobby.
Others, such as myself, feed 2-3 times per day. Our fish in the wild are constantly eating. They’re swimming around the reef looking for food - and eating whatever they find. I feed flakes 1-2x / day, frozen once. Just remember the more you feed the higher you’re nitrate and phosphate will be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Feed 3 to 4 times a day, in small portions. Your fish should be consumed to finish with the food in a couple of minutes. For fish in quarantine fed 5 times a day.

I feed Reef Frenzy once a day. It doesn't seem to matter too much how often you feed.

Depends on the type of fish. Lionfish, anglers, etc. need to be fed less often than anthias. IMO, 2-3 times per day is good for most fish. Tangs - hang a sheet of nori in addition to the feedings and they'll feed themselves as they please. Lionfish - once every 2 days. Most Anthias should be fed 3-5 times per day.
