Radion power supply in water

Jesus, I am not having a good day.
Earlier I had a tread with noisy MP 40, now my Radion power supply box went in the water.
Halfway in on the power out side, low voltage side, light went out and when I plug it in it now makes a buzzing noise. Did anyone have this happen, will it dry out? Please advise if this has happened to you,
Thanks,
Azraz

Unfortunately you’re probably looking at replacing it at this point. Saltwater is very corrosive and also very conducive. Trying to plug it in again before it was cleaned out and dried likely killed it if it wasn’t already dead.

To have any hope of saving it you would really need to try to disassemble it and wash out the salt water with RODI water and then let it fully dry before you attempt to power it on again.

Even if It worked if you just let it dry without washing it out the salt that remains behind will continue corroding the electronics inside it and it will probably fail within a short time.

If it’s just the power supply box just get a new one. At t least the lights are still good right? They didn’t get wet did they?

Don't plug in back in till you get the replacement. You risk actually damaging the light.
