Large white spot on tang

So I have a yellow tang in my Display tank. He sat in copper for about a week at an extreme dose accidental, before I put him in. He has a large white spot about 2mm on his fin it's been there for awhile now. I think it's lymph he pretty much only eats sea weed strips. Will it go away on it's on or should I soak the strip in something to medicate him? He is small between 2-3 inches.

hard to say without a picture. By the sounds of it, it may be Lympho. This comes from poor water quality which may have come from the overdosing of Cooper. IME, I have soaked their foods in Selcon or Vita-Chem and it went away on its own.
