Not an expert but it looks perfect. Definitely the benefit of getting a well established one.

Thank you. I was a bit nervous earlier this evening when I seen the mouth slightly open (not gaping by any means) but it turns out it was just pooping out the salmon from the other day lol . I'm going to give it a break from feeding for a bit and just let it get settled in.

Well I'm glad I was home, the anemone decided to detach from the rock and was floating around the tank with the clowns in it. I turned the power head off and placed it back on the rock and will keep the flow low till it attaches. Not sure why it would decide to move, looked happy last night , lights were off btw. All levels are great , 0 nitrates cal 420 alk 9dkh not sure about my P04 since I need refills for my Hanna. Other then detaching it looks great, mouth tight, body fluffy etc.

That is pretty odd. Does the foot look ok with no tears?

Well i put it back in its original spot a few hours ago and it hasn't moved since, strange. On a side note I never realized how sticky the feet of gigs are since I got I got it attached to a piece of LR when I did the trade.

He looks good. Water movement is fine. I would put more light on him. Possible he just did not have enough light and like to go to a better place.
I have seen this with Magnifica but not with Gigantea.
Is it possible for you to move him up closer to the light?

Thank you Minh. It hasn't moved again but I just bumped up the whites from 95% to 100 and also lowered the fixture about 2 inches. Does anyone know why some gigs have those beautiful long tentacles and mine are kinda stubby?

Because yours is a new arrival. Stress does that. Once acclimated, when it's healthy, it should grow longer tents. It can take from weeks to months, depending on the condition it was in BEFORE it started it's stressful travel to your tank. Your tank conditions will also play a part. That one should turn into a real beauty with TLC.

They are but I always see these videos of the shaggy carpets and was wondering when my gig will look like that.

Yours does look good. I would be very happy with that one.
Environment will affect how long they get. In some tanks, they may never get longer than 2"(which is still pretty good!), other tanks they may get 4-5" around the mouth.

Well after increasing my whites to the max and lowering the fixture a bit the gig looks very happy today. Also it's amazing that a little over a week from leaving my magnificent anemone my faded clown is getting his color back.

Latest video. This was taken about a few hours after feeding the gig a pencil eraser sized piece of fresh salmon. Up close it seems like it's getting more purple looking and more shaggy every day. https://youtu.be/N2ctLs_qaZw
