Jebao Crossflow Wavemakers - they win
This might be one of the weirdest posts we've ever written lol Cause we don't even sell these on the website - can't get more unbiased then that. Hopefully I can use an Instagram link. These little Jebao CrossFlow pumps are amazing so far. We have been running almost a dozen of them on different tanks so far with zero issues for almost 3 months. They are the quietest pump like this we have ever ran. The magnets on them are extremely strong and vibration dampening. They have a good deal of useable features, and the flow is extremely strong. A couple of them even sucked up a ton of Chaeto and just kept going. Everyone at the shop wondered if they were any good cause they're only around $100 on the bigger auction sites (for the most part); then we keep switching all the tanks over to them. We haven't had a single complaint.

Good luck..
I had one of the earlier ones... failed before its 1st birthday.. I'm not sure what generation they are on now or what you got but with most Jebao stuff they never seem to get it right at first but after a few renditions clean up their act and the product failure rate goes way down.. You a sponsor here? May want to think about it if you plan to link to your company sites in the future..

I just thought the video was cool cause it managed to capture one of them operating. Far as I know the new gen has a decent amount of upgrades. They are much quieter, they hold fine through 1/2" acrylic, and the control box is more well built.
And we're just on here to talk reefs and gear. Like I said we don't even sell these things on the site. The markup is probably too small for anyone to carry other then national distributor. |
