Curing old rock
Have some rock in salt water for a while now. Like 5 months+ No powerhead no heater. If i change the water, add a power head and heater and let it sit for a month or so i should be good right. Moving from 90g to 135g and want to add this to the rock i already have.

Its probably "Good to go" now..
Its been in saltwater for 5+ months.. There is plenty of bacteria in/on that rock and any decomposing organic has had time to be processed by now..

Likely good to go. Check phosphate levels several days after changing the water to see if the rock is leaching. Adding a very small amount of an ammonia source and then testing ammonia & nitrate will let you determine if the rock is cycled.
