Frag Tank Question

I have a frag tank setup with a foam filter that was in my sump for a few months, skimmer, and a whisper filter with carbon. I am also dosing zeovit because I do in the display.

It is a 20 gallon tank and I do a 1 gallon water change every day. Do I need a fish in the tank or will the water changes provide whatever bacteria that is needed?

Water changes wont provide bacteria. If you're referring to maintaining the bacteria in your frag tank, then you only need to ghost feed the tank every once in a while (if you don't have any fish). Are you planning on putting any clean-up crew in there?
