But since you don't want to ship I would recommend to try a local fb reefer group. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

How funny, I was there the weekend you got those clowns but didn't pay any attention to all the clowns that they had above all the frag tanks. Guess I should've paid more attention but did pick up some nice frags so was worth the trip from the North Bay.

Found an interesting paper on the effect anemonefish have on anemones. The study was done on A. bicinctus and E. quadricolor (BTA):

I started ramping up the salinity in their QT to normal last weekend.
Today I notice that the smallest of the 3 was breathing labored and a bit apathetic. The large ones seem fine. Prophylactically I gave them all a dose of Septra. I may also need to give them a formalin bath after all...

The heavy breathing of the little one stopped overnight with the Septra dose. He also went back to normal behavior. But something is still bothering them all as I saw them "cough" and scratch themselves.
I don't think it's Cryptocaryon, not after 2 weeks of hyposalinity and without the other typical symptoms. It also doesn't really fit Brooklynella or Trichodina, the usual suspects with Amphiprion. Though I'm gonna give them a formalin bath anyway, just for good measure. The other things I worry about are velvet and flukes... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
