Clam mantle receeding

Today i noticed that my clams mantle was receded. I got the clam last Sunday, it was looking great till today so i moved it up in the tank to have it closer to the light. Any help would be appreciated. first pic is when we got it and second is right now.

Any animal bothering it? Maxima clams need an established setup to thrive. U can try doing a freshwater dip if it doesn't get better.
