Utter Chaos and Cyano
I got a frag of Utter Chaos which has taken off from 2 heads to 6 in 1 week but it came along with a hitchhiker. (CyanoBacteria) it is only on this plug and spreading. I have already mounted the frag. What is the best way to stop this before it spreads to other stuff in the tank?
Any suggestions? |

Being that the frag has already been secured you might want to get yourself a soft brush and use this to remove the Cyanobacteria. You'll definitely upset the polyps in the process, but you won't hurt them.

If I scrub the cyano inside the tank will it spread to other areas or should I just take it out of the tank and scrub it

It'll spread I fought it for a couple months and would always think its gone and it would pop up again. finally gave in and dosed Chemi-clean and no traces of it been 6 months now
