Did/do you have any concerns, ( sun light, draft, temp fluctuation ) , with the tank being placed against a window?

Congrats again my friend.

Mucho Reef
Thanks, the window is blacked out as to not let in any light. Being by a window in Texas isn't too bad it doesn't affect the tank temp regardless of how cold. I also have a sun shade on the window for when its really sunny but haven't noticed any temp fluctuations.

I like how you did the expansion, where you made your own little fish room. Looks like it was already built like that!!! Very nice!

Can you expand to me a little more on how you keep evaporation and the fans used on surface of water? I have a difficult time keeping temperature below 82 degrees. Dont want a chiller at the time. Any suggestions?
Thank you, I do have to run a chiller in order to keep my temp where I want it. The fans help to keep the heat off of the water and my exhaust fan helps to keep the tank room less humid but without a chiller my tank would be above 84 easy.

Thank you, but the kudos really goes to you and your amazing tank. I just suffered over that article for a few days. You've been toiling over your gorgeous reef for much much longer.

My goodness! What a story of dedication and commitment! Great tank!

Not to dwell on the small stuff, but would you be willing to endorse a test kit? Thanks!

Awesome tank man! I cringed when I read the how long it took to transfer the tank over to the new house. Man how long did you sleep after this? LOL!

I am especially loving this article as my new tank will almost be identical in dimensions and you have given me such great ideas to use! Thanks.

Marc great job bro. I know these TOTM's take lots of time. Kudos bro!

You tank is a role model for the hobby.

One question, are your pH values the maximum values during the day or does you tanks stay within the 7.9 to 8.0 range. I am address a pH situation where my max is 7.9, but I get lower readings in the evening.

My max is 8.0 and without my kalk reactor it would be in the range of 7.8 to 7.9

Its a little over 11ft long and from the back of the tank to wall is 34" but I also have a larger space to the right where the tank is not at. I don't have a lens that will take a shot to show the whole space but will try to get a shot of it some way
