White stuff on chaeto

Can anyone help me identify what is growing in my chaeto. I have in my display tank for tank attached to some rock. There is good flow through out the tank thanks

Sponges. In most cases these are good, but it could choke out the Chaeto over time.

Agreed, sponges. I would put your chaeto in a bucket of old saltwater after your next water change and swish it around to remove most of it.
