GSP or Galaxea?

This was sold as Galaxea, but it seems to be GSP to me.

Can anyone help ID?

Also, I would like to trim/frat this back some. It seems to be totally encrusted over the rock, what would be the best method?

Thanks,
Russ

Looks like gsp.

Take your fingernail and peel up the edges, peel it back off the rock slowly. Use a razor blade to trim up the part still attached to the rock after you have lifted the amount you want to remove.

If it is happy, it will quickly regrow and encrust further. People usually isolate the rock to prevent spread (if on sand) or reduce spread to other rocks.

Looks like GSP. It would be wise to put it on an isolated island. It will spread onto every rock it touches and take over. Sounds great at first, but its not.
