I plan to maybe feed the tank once a week. The only thing in there besides coral will be one tiny shrimp.

here is a quick pic of my subpar paint job inside of the hood I made. Hopefully it will be a decent reflector.

New addition for the bubble tip. Hopefully he doesn't add too much bioload. Also remember keeping salinity on point is extremely important in these pico tanks. I add a little bit every morning when i wake up. An ato would help out a ton... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

awesome little crab. Thats a porcelin crab right? Yeah I think I might set up a diy gravity top off. I might not need to though since the lid I am going to use will only have a really tiny hole in it for the heater and powerhead cords. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

update! The tank has been setup for 2 weeks and is very messy at the moment. The damsel will be leaving I just needed a place to put it since I recently took down another tank.
Inhabitants: 1 scarlet hermit 1 cerith snail 1 damsel which will be leaving hitchhiker clam and feather dusters hitchhiker brain coral anthelia gsp random macro algae...not sure what they are called the deflector takes up a lot of room but it helps get rid of the surface film and helps randomize the flow well. equipment is the deflector 50 watt heater hydor evo pico mag 20watt 50/50 bulb in a custom hood. I do a weekly waterchange Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The pics are right after I cleaned the tank so the brain is pretty mad. Also when I got it part of it was dead so I'm hoping it stays healthy. It has been eating a lot

Just an FYI for auto top off on a small tank. When I had my 4gal set up I used a BRS 1.1 ml dosing pump on a timer. Very simple system, took a little tweaking to get it where I wanted but worked great to maintain stable salinity.
