Apex for a nano? Overkill?

Is an apex controller overkill for my 56 litre nano tank?

I have some expensive corals and I am coping quite well with my Tunze ATO, and heating controller. I like the idea of the apex but for a 56 litre tank??????

I have my Apex controlling my Innovative Marine Nuvo 16 which is about 60l. Of course the Apex is also controlling my bigger tank so the IM16 is not its only job but I like that I can access the controls from anywhere.

Never an overkill from a 1 gallon to 1000 gallon Apex is worth it!

I will not run another tank without a controller. I ran a SW tank for over 15 years without one... Never again no matter what size. Are they expensive? Yes! But it tells me things about the tank 24/7... Not just before and after work. There are many people that are very successful reefers without a controller. I on the other hand can not stay focused day in day out, week in week out. The controller protects me from myself!

My Apex has saved me twice on my nano. I don't think the size of the tank has anything to do with the decision. How would you feel if you lost those corals because of human error or an equipment malfunction? Both will happen eventually.
