Tunze osmolator tubing clogged, how to prevent?

Hi,

I realized my pumps are not my issue of flow with my osmo. It's the black tubing. They get clogged up. I'm only using it for dosing RO/Di top off water. So whatever buildup is maybe some bacteria (?).
How to prevent this, if possible, or how to clear the tubing out? I haven't tried vinegar yet b/c I dont see how there can be any Ca or Alk build up.

Thanks!

That is strange, I have only encountered blocked tubing due to kalkwasser. I would assume a bacterial growth and maybe the cause is a longer term storage of water if nothing is added to it. I find the easiest way to flush it, although a bit messy, get an RO faucet adapter, the tubing can be forced into the end, it will not hold as tight as RO tubing. Slowly turn on the water and you can blast it out pretty easily, just keep in mind it can pop off and the hose will tend to spray wildly so do it outside and turn on the water slowly.
