I looked at your link for the suction cups and love them! The link says they will support 330 pounds. I've looked at similar handles before and still have this question: is the supported weight cumulative? Will 2 of them support the weight of my 180 I have to move in a couple of months? That's based on an empty 180 weighing ~450 pounds

I would recommend 4 for a 6', trying to move a 6' tank with 2 people is a little hard.
But yes to answer your question 2 will be okay, but remember to clean the glass, and the inside of the suction cup with plenty of alcohol and make sure it dries well before use.

It's been a while again, but I am slowly starting to like more and more sps.
After 3 plus years I finally finished enclosing the tank.
