found something interesting in my tank covering a lot of the rocks in lower light areas. What the heck are these? looks like they almost have mouths too?

Thanks in advance.

Sponges
(common and harmless)

I'd suggest bookmarking and browsing this site to learn a bit about whats commonly found in our tanks..
https://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhikers-guide/
It has a simple thumbs up/down rating system to easily let you know about them..

That link doesn't have much as far as sponges go.. There are thousands of different kinds in all shapes/sizes..
What I see there is certainly a sponge and likely other things like spirorbid worms
