Fix Vortech MP60QD dry part cover

Hello,

One of my MP60QD has been damaged at dry part case.
So I would like to buy it to fix but i can not get it until now.
I contact Echotech to get the part.

they said, I have two option
No. 1 "you would have to send it in for service. The repair is about $35.00. The shipping is also about $40-50."
No. 2 "you can buy complete dry side"

I just need only dry side cover and then i can fix it by myself.
but i can not understand i have only two option. why do i have to send my MP60 to Echotech marine USA??, Why do i have to buy complete dry part.

if i choose one of the option, i will waste my more money for delivery cost or to buy complete dry part.

Could you please let me know how to get dry part case easily?
