Question about bk 160
I used bk 160 over 1 years ,
but it doesn't work well . I have 6 fish and feed corals almost everyday , it's a nps tank !! Even I stop feeding for two weeks , bk160 still can't have solid foam stably. Sometimes good , sometimes bad . It's really strange !! Is my tank too small ? (100 liter ) I have no idea about the situation ! Can you help me to Find out the possible causes ? I will really appreciate that !! |

You’re only option would be to add a bunch more fish or run the skimmer more wet by closing the wedge pipe some more in order to raise the level higher inside the skimmer. This reduces the volume needed to fill the neck with foam and will improve the consistency some.

In my country , people used to handle the tank by putting a big skimmer in the sump . Follow that experience , I really made a mistake ! I wouldn't add more fish , the tank is already too small for them . So I think I will look for the next skimmer which is more fitting the tank . |

The one in your tank looks OK though you could probably open the wedge pipe a tiny bit.
