Do I have two male clowns and could they pair?
So a couple months ago I got two oc. clownfish, one ever so slightly slightly bigger than the other.
I don't see any signs of them being a pair, because I don't see any submission of one to the other. But there is also no fighting, so they must both be male? But if they are both male, then isn't one bound to become female? they seem to at least be friends because at least half of the time they are side by side, but they both exhibit the exact same behavior from what I can tell, kind of a repetitive up-and-down, side-to-side, all-around motion if you know what I mean. I really want to breed clownfish at some point, and that would be awesome if these guys are gonna spawn. then I will put a small pot in the tank. I've attached photos and video. https://youtu.be/msnn_QdXRuI |

I've had pairs that started very small that just never showed signs of aggression, yet paired and spawned, or some that just got a little weird not long before spawning, either are possible
It's not always such a battle.
