Asian export ban
Anyone heard of this?
I was told yesterday that the asian governments have but a export ban on all marine aquarium life. My friend told me that the last time it happened was 20 and ot took 3 years for the market to recover He explained that the clam thats 70.00 would be 2100 soon. Has anyone else heard of this. |

I've been hearing this from a couple of stores as well. The sps shortage is noticeable at the stores.

Doesn't appear to affect Canada, shops are full, prices are reasonable, clams for 100 bucks regularly.....maybe it's a US thing?
I do note though that lately, I see a ton of Aussie stuff and less Indo, but still available Btw....if you can get a clam for $70 bucks....that's a deal..... |
