2una, thanks for the info on the sump setup. I've luckily gotten by with just a new ASM G1 skimmer in the left section of my 650's sump, and trying to use the rest as a refugium. I have the green hose hanging exactly like yours and am trying to figure out a good use for it. I also like your idea about using the board to direct flow further left.

Do you get a lot of skim out of both skimmers or is the second one more for the aeration to boost Ph?

The BM D9 pretty much starves the Ati....the Ati its really just ph lift + catching the biopellet effluent. I get 2 different coloured skimate in both, the ati's is just mostly biopellet creamy junk & the BM is dark green stinks to high heaven stuff.
I brought the Ati cos i wasn't sure the BM was pulling what it should have been but it's definitely doing a good job.
Bit more time with the marine pure blocks in & i'm hoping i can remove the biopellet reactor

Love that tank

That sump is packed but neat. Love it. Am I reading it right? 3 protein skimmers? I see u have 8 dosing pumps. What are u dosing. I've been using ABC+ and colors C&D in my bio cube at work. I'd love to use it at home bc I think it works great but seems like it'd be too costly for the volume of a 650. Question. I'm dosing calk 1&2 and magnesium and have one more chamber. Any ideas what I could add to my dosing regime? Also I currently have the spyglass reactors. Two small one for gfo and one for carbon. I have a medium running biopellets. I'm thinking of getting a large for pellets to get a better tumble and running the carbon in the medium to get a better polish on my water which leaves me with a spare small. Any ideas on what to run in the spare small or should I just sell it. I have to up my dose on parts 1&2 to keep my parameters where I want them. Right now my LPS is doing great. My Zoas are growing like wildfire but my sps is just living. It's got all the polyps out but no real growth or encrusting. I've gotten some awesome coral pieces but I can't upload pics. I'm still laying the tank fallow and lost a few fish. I grabbed a 55 to treat my fish for the ich. This week I'm grabbing at least a 3.5" male crosshatch trigger who's beautiful and maybe a small gem tang that a friend will qt for me while my tank gets rid of the ich. Oh and my ato valve started acting up so now I have to add rodi water manually. Even though I'm complaining about apex I'm waiting for their ato module to come out bc the 10 gallon reservoir is just not enough. Have to fill it like every three days. So annoying.
