Radion Xr30w or Xr15w

I have a 55 gallon mixed reef tank, should I get one Xr30w or two of the Xr15w? Or what LED lights do you guys recommend that will keep my corals healthy?

One XR30w won't be enough for a 4' tank. You would be better off with 2 XR15w's to start with and could always add a third if needed. I just bought 3 XR30wgen 4 pros to replace my Kessil a360w's. Didn't like them. One one the tank covered about 30". I just sold 2 of them and selling the 3rd. I just bought 2 Kessil AP700's. I made the switch to have more control ability. Now I just need to sell my 4 a360w's. I personally like the natural look of the Kessil shimmer.

I just saw the ap700 and it's amazing!! And I'm guessing the this fixture also has the sun rise and sunset and all the good stuff right?

Yes, it's fully programmable with ramp up and ramp down. It also has a lunar schedule. Best of all you download an app to program it. No extra modules to purchase to control it. I'm not saying the Radion isn't an amazing light because it is but everyone has their own preferences on lighting. If you your looking for a single led fixture for a 4' tank the AP700 should be high on your list. Reefbreeders and Maxspect also make single fixtures to be used on a 4' tank. Also, take a look at the Nanobox quad. Dave makes awesome light fixtures that you can customize.

I'm not sure if you're planning on a LPS or SPS dominant. Fwiw, I have a 47" tank with 1 ap700 and it's simply not enough for my mixed reef. Unfortunately, I think 2 ap700s fixtures wouldn't be the best option for the tank as it'll be 40" total inches running side by side. I'd have lots of spillage unless I run them ~5" above water and pretty much cook the corals on top sort to say. I opted for 2 xr30 pros and will leave room for possibly a third if need be. I haven't gotten them in yet so we'll see how I like them

The kessil spots do not do dusk/dawn as well as the Radion. They shut down at about 12-15%. Perhaps the AP700 is better in that regard.

What about the Hydra twenty six? For my 48" tank two should do the job right? Or the radions is the way to go?

I just added some fuel and added more RO water, but all my other parameters are perfect so I'm guessing it's the light that's causing some of my corals to act iffy
