Magnet Question
So, some of my corals and zoas have been struggling in my 220the last cpl months. I chalked it up to my move (charlotte to orlando). So yesterday, i was cleaning my MP40’s and noticed a swelled/split magnet on the impeller. So i called ecotech and they are sending me a new wetside gratis( their customer service is second to none). Well i my conversation I asked him if it was possible the magnet was leaking toxins in the tank and could this be the reason some corals have struggled and he said no.
So, i don’t beleive that especially since some of my corals already look better after i took the magnet out and did a large water change... Thoughts? Rich |

I've lost a lot of corals because of this. It was slow but after it was replaced I did notice recover and growth again.
