I do to my lfs, but would be more than happy to connect with you. I also travel quite often to Tampa, so I'm on I-10 & I-75 frequently. Let me know the next time you're in the area.

Very! Yes. I'm into SPS. Actually moving into the new house on base as I type this. Worked allllllll night to move my livestock, rock, water and other stuff to my garage to hold it there until the movers move the 180. Also waiting for plumbing supplies from BRS, Thursday evening.

Thank you. I've got the display broken down and the movers will move it tomorrow last on/first off. The remaining plumbing supplies should be here tomorrow evening from BRS. The challenge for me is the plumbing, only because the tank isn't in place right now. I need to know where my tank drain bulk head will be in relation to the garage floor/sump tank.

Just finished my plumbing after being forced to relocate to the new housing on base. I made a big add hole in the wall. I am pleased. Will work on the wire management and cleaning up the mess once we are unpacked.

Why were you forced to relocate to base housing?

In most cases it's easier to live on post but I don't understand why you "have to". But it's great to have Uncle Sam cover water and electric when you have a demanding system.

They are tearing down all the older housing and have built am entirely new community of houses on base. Happy to report move and setup and done, just need to clean up the wires on my control board. Thinking of replacing it with a nice looking sheet of colored acrylic. The set of batteries you see is my DIY Vortech MP60 battery back up. Should provide up to 4 days of power.

The tear down and set up where just the worst. It was a lot of work. I did well though ordering all my plumbing parts, only had to go to the hardware store once for a single adapter.

I'm considering the integration of flex PVC into my next build. Is primer mandatory or were you just checking all of the boxes with your joints? I found out yesterday that I have 45 days + terminal until the Army spits me out to the world so I'm foaming at the mouth with ideas to move across merica get a new place and start a new build.

Sure, you can use flex PVC. Yes you must use primer and PVC cement. It's great but here are some things I learned when using it. When glueing seat the flex PVC all the way into every joint, and let it bond for at least several hours, over night is best. Don't try to make tight bends with it, not meant for that, just use a 90 or 45. It's great on your return as the flex absorbs vibrations well.
You can see here I used a short run so that even if all my cuts and angles where not perfect the flex would make up for any errors. Worked great!

Personal opinion only - Matt's Coral Connection on Chicago in FWB is very good. I've bought from him for the last two years. Another is Petland, I get my cleanup crew from there. They also saved me big time when my tank sprung a leak and I needed a replacement tank asap. Another is Elite Aquatics on Truman in FWB. You also have Bluewater Zoo right on 98 proper in FWB, but I went in there once to talk about lighting and the clerk looked like a deer in headlights. Could have just been a bad day, but I stay with Matt's. His tanks are clean of pests & parasites.
