Return pump question
Does anyone have experience with a Reeflo PRIMER-300 HIGH SPEED Self-Priming External Water Pump? Looks a lot like a pool pump.?.? I am doing another build and the sump will be in the basement, approximately ten feet below the tank. The tank is a 230gallons. The tank will have a chiller, skimmer, and everything else in a "fish room" 10 feet below in the sump and/or fed from the pump. I'm looking for opinions on how much pump I need, but will take all opinions of course. Thank you in advance.

They’ll answer all your questions on their pumps. I have a Hammerhead-Barracuda on my 300 display with a 220 gal sump. The pump sits outside the house and pumps horizontally 4 feet before going vertically 6.5 feet. The pump has so much power I use a valve valve on the output to control the flow. When it comes time for a replacement I’ll be getting one it’s smaller brothers. Sent from Untico’s iPhone using Tapatalk
