nice. i love royal grammas. Dont beat yourself up over the Achilles tang. they are notoriously difficult to acclimate and live in captivity. such a beautiful fish though everyone has to try.

Thanks. Thankful it was in the QT though.

I also have a 300 freshwater, and have a Florida Gar which I've owned for 19 years.

Was in Maui recently and swam with tons of large achilles and mustard tangs. So awesome to see them in their natural habitat.... always looking for food it seemed.

awesome. never heard of a Florida gar. but i caught a few alligator gar up north as a kid. Had all sorts.of freshwater tanks over the years. think 120 was my biggest though. Always liked south american chiclids and africans.

I would love to have that opportunity someday. i live in south florida and haven't even been diving here yet lol.
