I love putting a big squeeze in my reef, and a few squirts in the angled tank. Magically, I got some cyano but perhaps it was coincidental.

I finally got my big bali slimer colony to rival my Surf n' Turf colony. It came in 3 pieces so I epoxied it back together in some resemblance of a normal colony. It didn't fit where I wanted it to go, so now I need your help with suggestions to fill the empty space.
Here are some PNS shots I took, the coral is still sliming and I'm in the middle of a water change so don't grade me on my photo skills today . See that flat empty shelf? That's where I want something to go. Do you think I should put my pink digi there? A very small setosa frag? an encrusting rainbow monti? Yellow scroll? There are so many options... help me choose. I really want something with contrasting colors..the pink would look amazing, but will the stags eventually encroach on it? |

A monti like a rainbow or similiar would be cool on that shelf, problem is those stags will grow at a faster rate.
You may end up shading the monti with the stags and not be able to see it eventually. I'd put a small frag there anyway and see what happens, they way I see it is you get to enjoy it for a while and if it gets overgrown just frag a piece back off and move it....... I have the same issue in parts on my tank, I have some mature large pieces and spaces in between to fill but i know a small frag takes longer to get established and grow and i don't want to lose a perfectly good coral after a year. You need a nice Oregon A. tortuosa there, the kind that is all blue with hardly any green. Or a bright red chalice.

Where do you buy your bulbs? Do you have a favorite supplier?

So officially I didn't spend a dime on this bulb swap. But I will say get ATI or Geismann bulbs only and the UV purple bulb is good |

If it wasn't for the fact that diversity is what makes this hobby so great, I'd argue with you mmoore0324.
