The floor is an epoxy finish right over the concrete floor. It has several blue flakes in it as well as some hologram chips.
Huh?? Can we get a closeup? I was thinking of going plain... but I like the color and the specks.

What controller are you using?

Very nice build. You've given me some additional ideas for my tank and room.

Right now I have an old Aquacontroller III. I am planning on upgrading to an Apex soon though.

I'll try to get some pics up of the floor tomorrow.

That is one beautiful and very well planned build. Are you planning an automatic water change system in there?

Yes, I have a Genesis system that I received yesterday. Will be installing it today. Although, with the current plumbing I am able to do large water changes if needed. One of my drain lines has a tee directly into a floor drain and I have a line from my saltwater holding bin plumbed directly to the sump.

Ahhh, Ok on the chips...

I really like it but I want to go with blue hippo tank colors on my walls and chair rail so that wont match too well...

I really do like it though.

I am doing a fish room, compared to a control room.

Take a look at my build thread I just put up a walkaround video and some input would help with colors. If ya want.

NICE so far... I am going to steal some ideas off your doors too!

hahaha

Got my Genesis Renew auto water change system installed. Set it up to change out 3 gallons of water per day, 93 gallons per month. Seems to working great.

Also got a few of the fish into the main display. The Lemonpeel Angel i still a little shy and does not come out into the open very often.

Genesis system

Neon Gobys

Purple Firefish

Royal Gramma

I like the renew system... IDK about the price tag though. It does seem worth it...

It seems to be very nice. The set up is very straightforward and it is easy to use and works exactly as they describe it.

Three new fish added to quarantine. Midas Blenny, Blonde Naso Tang and a Flame Angel. Also added a couple hundred snails and hermits to the main tank.

Great job on this build, Steve.
We absolutely love the thoughtful design, attention to detail, and quality of the parts and installation. What kind of stocking list are you thinking of? Any plans on how you want the finished product to look?

Eventually I want to have about 6-8 Tangs including a few Yellows, a Purple and a Yellow Bellied Blue along with the Kole and Naso I already have. 2 dwarf Angels, the Flame and Lemonpeel. A Regal Angel a pair of Bellus and a pair of Wantabeis. 3-4 Bartlett's Anthias. A pair of Black Ice Clowns and a pair of Picasso Clowns. The Gobys and Firfefish I already have and about 4-5 different Wrasse.

The tank will be mostly SPS with a few LPS pieces. I do have an idea of how I want it to be laid out.
