Buying Radion XR30 G4 Need some feedback

Ive had the original Gen 1 for a long time then went to combo led / T5 but want to get back to just LED and looking to buy the XR30 G4 - two of them for my 36” x 30” Penninsula tank and run them perpendicular to the tank.

How do folks like them as Ive been very out of touch with reefing and let my tank deteriorate but I’m back and want to upgrade and clean up the tank.

PS: Ive purchased a Clear water ATS - 50 to help with algae and Nitrates.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I’m also looking for direction on where to get some good light programs for my Softie/LPS tank with very few SPS.

Tank is 18” deep x 23” wide by 36” long

Take a look at the GHL Mitras LX7206.
These are more efficient with better use of wattage and are cloud ready without needing an add-on accessory.

On my old 280 I had 3 Gen 2's on it, and now that I;m running a 65 I've got 1 Gen4 Xr30Pro on it. I'm pleased with them, but you have to remember to clean the light every few months to keep salt creep off of the boards. The fan pulls from the bottom.

FYI, the fans on the Xr30 never stop running when they’re plugged in, while the xr15s do turn off

I wound up buying two XR15 installed them yesterday.

Radions are the new tech for LEDs they are amazing and I have own both T5 and LEDs and have to say they both do the job just fine.
