It's amazing. I haven't been to the forum since 2010. Crazy.
My closed loop tank is still the same and has been running for close to 10 years now. My Eheim 2222 is as good as new and has been working for the last 10 years with no issues. Actually I hit a jackpot and literally got a pile of equipment from craigslist add for basically close to free. One of 4 filters I got was Eheim 2226 which I'm planning to hook instead of 2222 but need to mod the impeller to slow down the water from say 760l/h to say 500-600 or close to what 2222 has. Wow, that's so cool that you're tank is still chugging along. Congrats

Wonderful nano. I hope you dont mind me asking, I don't know how chromis behave because I have not kept them, will other fishes not suppress the clownfishes territory too much?

Not sure I'm the right person to answer. I don't have Chromis. In my tank I have 2 average size clowns. 2 inches each, 1 big banded coral shrimp with whiskers extending to 1/3 of a tank, about 10 turbo snails, 2 emerald crabs, some zoas, 1 anemone, I think that Clowns can beat up quite a few fishes. When I added the second Clown they were beating each other for a couple of days but now it's peace and friendship.
My tank is only 8 gallons so likely will not be adding any more fish. Clowns will definitely start beating Chromis up. Generally Clowns are pretty peaceful and get bored fighting so question is when and if they stop. By the way, what happened to the Nano sub forum...? no paging is available and only new threads coming up |
