Apex and Reeflink?

So I am looking into getting an apex and currently have a Reeflink. If I end up getting a apex, would the Reeflink be obsolete?

If you want to integrate your Ecotech gear with an Apex controller, you’ll need to get a WXM module. However, the WXM can only control Vortechs and Radions, not the Vectra return pumps. Bectras are only controllable by the Reeflink. I’d still keep the Reeflink for Ecotech software updates though.

Nice, thanks for the advice. Just wondering as I seen people with an apex and seem to sell off their Reeflink.

ReefLink is also better for controlling the gen 4 radions

I prefer the reeflink over the apex to control the MP40"s and the L1, and use the Apex to control everything else.

I control my Gen 4 Radions with a WXM module, you just need to ensure the latest update on it and it works all 8 channels of the Radions.

I started using the WXM module to control my 3 XR30 G4 pros, and MP wavemakers. Decided to try the Reeflink and personally I prefer the Reeflink over the WXM module.
