New to LEDs as main lighting.
I’ve noticed a huge shift to LEDs over the past few years and didn’t think much about it. Now I’m busy working on setting up a 15g Waterbox cube and originally had it in my mind that I would go with 150w Phoenix 14k bulb. After doing some diving into Par and PPFD it came to my attention that I can get similar values with a 50W AI prime HD. Is this the case? And how much does a diffuser drop PAR on the AI prime?

On a small tank like that a Prime would be perfectly fine and enough....

And the diffuser will mitigate the disco effect?
