You're not supposed to make the mermaid clean the glass! Then they look all annoyed in the obligatory mermaid shot!

Your tank looks great, can't wait to see what becomes of it!

Guy’s help me chose a protein skimmer, I want it to be external. It’s going to be mounted in my pump room. I’m looking at
Super Reef Octopus XP-8000 External Cone Protein Skimmer
My Reef Creations Reeflo Orca Pro II
My Reef Creations MR-4 Protein Skimmer

Any other suggestions?

400 lbs I might add more, I was thinking about going with the sugar fine (0.1mm) but thought I wouldn't be able to control the sand storm I went with the Oolite grade (0.6mm)

Solar tubes look great...thanks for posting the price as well. That's very reasonable and I'm sure you installing them saved you a TON.

Great work...very clean.

Will do, maybe next week. Maybe after I finish up some of the honey do list I'll swing by, let me know where and when.

Some updates, I’m still waiting on my sump I’ve been told I should have it any day. Pumps and skimmer should be here any day as well. I’m going to be using My Reef Creations MR-6R Recirculating Protein Skimmer the Reeflo Hammerhead Gold 5800gph will be used as the recirculating pump. I will also be using 2 Reeflo Super Dart Gold Pumps, 4300 GPH as circulating pumps.
I filled the tank with RO/DI water, (it took 5 days to fill it) I wanted to see how the temperature would be effected by the Sun-Domes. Over the last week the temperatures in the tank have been max 79.1 min 76.7 I keep our home at 76-78 degrees when I add two 12 inch fans blowing on top of the tank I can get the water temp to drop to 75.3 degrees.

Sorry for the lack of progress, once the sump is here I can get back to work.
