Anyone notice how there are hardly any fish in the tanks? From the pics the fish livestock is very low...

Hey Corn.. If its white SPS your after I've got a few different types for you. They are the VERY rare kind. Don't even have polyps! Man I'll make you a deal you can't refuse. They've even been genetically altered so that you don't have to put them in a bag of water when shipping!! Just throw them in a box with some peanuts (even the peanuts are optional) and ground shipping is fine. man these things are HARDY!! Get em while they are hot!!

So are any of these tanks in Tuscany (Toscana)? I've spent the last 3 months in Florence (Firenze) and I'd really like to see one of these bad boys.

Some of these tanks look so overpacked with SPS corals. I wonder how they deal with detritus and flow. Even with the best pumps and wavemakers, I would be concerned with the most densely packed ones that algal growth and or tissue death would start occurring.

It has nothing to do with abilities I think. It is a problem that will occur in every tank within years when colonies get bigger and bigger.

I'm also curious how they handle this problem with detritus and flow.

I've had a few here and there over the years. I make christmas ornaments out of them For the record I don't have any right now other than 1 I tried to save from a guy that was pretty pale and ran zeovit. I don't run zeo and I think possibly the stress from going from that to mine put the final nail in the coffin. Bummer..
