Something wrong with my mushrooms
Hi. I have a 100g mixed reef with parameters as below. I have to rocks of muchrooms and we’re absolutely thriving a couple of weeks ago. Now however they look worse for wear and appear to have shrunk and one has even detached.
Any ideas on what could have caused this? Ammonia, nitrite and phosphate 0. Nitrate 2 Salinity 34pt (have slowly raised this over last month from 30) Temp 27 Ph8 Ca 500 (recently raised because was very low) Alk 11 dKH (also raised as was low around 6 Mag 1450 The rocks were covered before and over spilling onto neighbouring ones. Have you changed your lighting or perhaps the flow recently? As long as everything else is OK I wouldn't worry too much about the mushrooms. They're probably just in a bad mood right now and they should bounce back to normal in time.

I have been moving my power heads around to be honest to get the flow right for the SPS. Also think I turned the lights up a touch. They a bit sensitive to that are they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would venture to guess the change in flow more than lights unless the change in lighting was significant. They looked pretty. Settled in their home
